Prairie Creek Edibles Ltd. was started by a mother/daughter team to offer Celiacs and gluten allergy sufferers tasty, healthy baking. We also produce gluten free artisan fruit spreads, artisan dried fruit, and artisan fruit leather creations in our gluten free facility. We are custom bakers and not a bakery.
Our kitchen has been health inspected and is designated gluten-free and nut-free. Almost all of the fruit used for our business is grown on our family farm. What we cannot grow is BC sourced or organic at least. We are located in Summerland, BC and welcome visitors to the farm.
We atarted baking gluten free and nut free beacuase of the many allergies within the family. We converted family favourites to gluten free and everyone really liked them. Celiac friends of the family really liked the gluten-free versions and started asking us to make more. The business was born!
